The mission of D.A.R.E.E. (Delivering A Rich Empowering Experience) is to enhance the self-esteem of teenage girls and young women so that they can develop the self-confidence they need to make the best decisions and life choices for themselves, and avoid making life-altering mistakes. We do this by promoting media literacy: exposing the dangers of negative media influence, educating youth on how to analyze media messages, and providing strategies to overcome damage from media exposure to help youth rise above media influence and change negative self-perceptions.
