After being a single mother for over 10 years, and overcoming self-esteem issues, depression, co-dependency and divorce, Daree is a real-life testament to hope and inspiration for teens and young women through her open, candid speaking, coaching, workshops and books.

Daree’s personal empowerment speaking and life coaching programs help women & girls with building self-confidence, and show them how to:

Youth Program Descriptions

october2011 011The Music, The Media, The Message: Decoding the Hype in Entertainment This is a dynamic and fun workshop that teaches teens how to J.A.M. their way to a higher sense of self-worth and empower them to make better choices in entertainment. A series of activities is included to help you learn how to take charge of your thought life, and break down the negative, stereotypical, sensual messages in popular music, TV shows and magazines. Practical emphasis is on media literacy education, positive self-affirmations, and the practice of journaling to document experiences, release strong emotions, and track personal growth. Age/Grade: 10+ (Middle School and High School)

 

Who Do You Think You Are? Who Do You Think You Are? is a program that incorporates self-discovery and personal reflections, and challenges teens to take responsibility for their lives by providing a comprehensive set of practical tools for releasing stress, mastering emotions, and raising self-awareness. The purpose of this program is to plant a seed of hope to instill the values of self-love, self-worth, and self-respect, by teaching teen girls how to validate their own identity, as well as to understand self,  improve relationships with others (to include parents, siblings, friends, and boys) and establish/build their relationship with God* (*in faith-based markets).
